More Sketching at Elmwood Cemetery

One could spend many days drawing the statuary and monuments at historic Elmwood Cemetery

 I made 3 drawings a few
 Saturdays ago.

I returned yesterday and drew 2 more.

Sketches from the Food Truck Fest

We went to the first Memphis Food Truck Fest, which was held on Tiger Lane at the Liberty Bowl. The place was PACKED! People walking and eating had to wind their way around long lines at all of the trucks. Bands played, puppies were adopted, books were distributed. The whole affair was a benefit for Literacy Mid-South. Looking forward to next year!

Greenbelt Park

The Memphis Urban Sketchers met at the Greenbelt Park on Mud Island today. It had been a while since I'd sketched at the river, and I enjoyed being down there on a perfect day.
